Double XP Event Extended – A Blessing or a Curse?

It looks like the latest Double XP event in COD BO6 Gift CP Call of Duty has been extended! Initially planned to end this weekend, it’s now lasting another few days. I’m honestly torn about how I feel about it.
On one hand, I’m excited because I’ve been grinding hard to level up my weapons and battle pass, and this extension gives me a little extra time to make some progress. The Double XP boost has definitely made a difference for me, especially since I’ve been stuck on leveling up certain guns for a while. With the event’s extension, I’m hoping to hit that next tier before it’s over.
But on the other hand, part of me is wondering if this is just Activision trying to stretch the event longer for more player engagement, especially when new content isn’t coming out fast enough. Sure, Double XP is great, but I’d love it if they focused on delivering fresh content consistently instead of just extending these temporary boosts. It feels like a bit of a filler move, don’t you think?
Still, I'm not complaining too much – I'll take any buy COD BO6 CP advantage I can get to improve my rank and unlock more rewards. What do you all think? Is the extension a nice bonus, or does it feel like a bit of a cash-grab tactic?
