Ride the Trails

Your day will start with a nature hike.  It will only take an hour and will have a few surprises in it.  Your guide will point out all the plants and animals that live along the canal.  There is a lot happening at the edge of the water.  When you reach an old railroad bridge,  it is time to get back on the boat for an up close look at our animal friends from the perspective of being on the water.  This is much different.

When we get back to our home port, we will get ready to take you on a driving tour of one of the favorite city's in the Finger Lakes, Ithaca.  We tour Cornell University Campus and tell you stories about Ithaca as we walk to the newly constructed "Ithaca Commons".

Then it will be time for lunch on your own.

Our next move is to take a short drive to the stables.  Here we have a great trail ride.  There are horses for all.  There is a very special rhythm and energy that goes with horseback riding.  It is an opportunity to feel how it might have been like when there were nothing but horses to get from one place to the other.

We will be stopping at a winery or two on the way back home.
