Solution:(Thanks to @lightos for this fix)There seem to be few issues with Database connectivity. The solution is to create a new user on the database and use that user for launching the tool. Follow the following steps.Delete dbconnect.conf file from the Infernalwireless folderRun the following command from your mysql console.mysql>use mysql;mysql>CREATE USER 'root2'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'enter the new password here';mysql>GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON \*.\* TO 'root2'@'localhost' WITH GRANT OPTION;Try to run the tool again.UsageSource: As the name suggests, Fern WiFi Cracker tool is meant for analyzing your network, finding the loopholes, and plugging them to ensure maximum security. Written in Python programming language, this ethical hacking program can run different network-based attacks on ethernet and wireless. Its major highlights are WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPS cracking, session hijacking, MITM attacks, brute force attacks, etc.
Joshua Wright is the owner/founder of cowPatty. It works on the principle of automated offline dictionary attacks. The tool includes an Auditor CD that makes it easy to use the tool for hacking WPA-PSK networks.
The primary purpose of developing the Infernal-Twin pentesting tool is to automate the evil twin attack by creating access points. Those access points sniff network communication and get the desired results for the users.
